To the surprise of those present, he was able to accurately describe names, places, and details he had never been taught — knowledge that had come to him through his dreams. This confirmed to the elders that he had been spiritually chosen to carry forward the family tradition.

During his initiation, he was entrusted with traditional spiritual tools such as reading cards, snail shells, a ceremonial stick, and a calabash used in healing practices. These symbols represented wisdom, responsibility, and service.

As part of the final stage of his initiation, Nahabu was asked to identify the elder who had been leading the ceremony. Drawing from what he had seen in his dreams, he gave the correct name without hesitation. The elder was later revealed to be his grandfather, confirming that the spiritual lineage had continued through generations.
